Bret Michaels Brain Hemorrhage

Bret Michaels, a 47-year old American signer who is best known as the lead vocalist of the glam metal band Poison, was rushed to intensive care late Thursday because of a severe headache.

Bret Michaels was then diagnosed with a brain hemorrhage or Subarachnoid hemorrhage - bleeding at the base of his brain stem, and is now in critical condition, his publicist was cited as saying Friday.

Bret Michaels has been rushed to the hospital following a massive brain hemorrhage, according to reports.

The Poison rocker and reality TV star is said to have suffered a terrible headache late Thursday night. He is in “critical condition,” according to People.com, with what doctors term a “massive subarachnoid hemorrhage.”

Currently a contestant on “Celebrity Apprentice,” Michaels is reportedly being kept in the intensive care unit.

Michaels, who is diabetic, had an emergency appendectomy in San Antonio on April 12. It is not known at this time whether the most recent emergency stems from either the surgery earlier this month or his diabetes...more
